Going into remission is wonderful news. My mother has a lupus-like autoimmune disease that rears its ugly head every so often. I know remission is a cause to celebrate.

Doctors on strike? Really?
We (yes, cats included) are very happy to hear about the low creatinine level!!!
We (yes, again, cats included) will pray / purr for continued good news!

We hope your lupus stays under control and the next blood results will be better!!

I am doing okay ... I feel okay ... I hope inside me is okay!
Will be going for another two blood tests next week, seeing the doctors (yup, two doctors, Rheumy & Nephro) the week after. Wish me luck!!

An interesting and useful start to an important examination. Of course, now you'll have to investigate things about the organic chemistry of the body to determine which substances the body can actually remove over time, and which accummulate no matter what one does. We have managed to create compounds and materials that natural systems were never designed to deal with (nano-scale materials, anyone?), somewith chemistries that are far different from what nature evolved on its own (at least in mass cale--who knows what substances exist in the nooks and crannies of environments we can't explore?

Would love to have the time to start a career in materials science, but I suppose that woulod mean going back to actually learn math...shucks!
